  • What is the user name and password of the Baode server operating system?

The default user name of the Windows system is Administration, and the password is: 11111111 (8 1s).

The default user name of the Linux system is: root, and the password is: 11111111 (8 1s).

If the above user name and password are incorrect, please check the nameplate on the machine. If there is an installation system in the shipment, it will be marked on the nameplate.

  • What are the default IP, user name and password of the BMC management port of the Baode server? Forgot username and password how to check?

The default IP address of the BMC management port is:; the user name is ADMIN or root, and the password is: 11111111 (8 1s) or Admin123@pl (also marked on the machine nameplate).

The BMC password can be modified through the ipmitool tool under the system; run ipmitool user list 1 under the system, you can view the BMC management user name and the corresponding ID, and then enter ipmitool user set password "the ID corresponding to the user to be repaired" "the user The password to be changed”; see the following figure: (ADMIN is the username of the machine management port, 2 is the ID corresponding to this user; the figure below is to change the password of the BMC management user whose username is ADMIN to 11111111)

  • The redundant power supply has only one power supply module connected to the power cord. Why does the alarm sound? How to eliminate the alarm?

The redundant power supply needs to be powered on both of them to not alarm. If there is one power supply module that is not connected to the power cord, the power supply will default to this power supply module not powered on and alarm. When a single power supply module is connected, the power supply module without the power cord can be pulled out, and the alarm will be cleared.

  • When reinstalling the system, why can't the server enter the system installation interface after selecting installation media such as CD-ROM or U disk?

When reinstalling the system, if there is data on the disk on the server, after selecting the installation medium, you need to press any key on the keyboard to read the system files in the installation medium; if not, the data on the disk will be read first. , the system installation interface cannot be entered, and the system cannot be installed.

  • Why is the hard disk not recognized when the system is installed?

This is because the system does not integrate the corresponding disk controller driver, and the corresponding hard disk driver needs to be loaded.

To load the hard disk drive in Windows, in the partition interface, click "Load Driver" and "Browse" to load the corresponding driver and click OK. After the loading is complete, the disk will be recognized.

The Linuxt system uses linux dd to load the hard disk.

  • When the system is installed with PE, why does the partition fail to install, or an error is reported during the system installation, or the system cannot be entered after restarting?

The server has relatively high requirements for system drivers. The incompatible drivers integrated on the PE will cause the system installation to fail or the system to become unstable after both installations. It is recommended to install with a CD-ROM drive. U disk, make the U disk into a system boot disk to install.

Example: The steps to create a bootable USB disk with the ultraiso tool are as follows:

    (1) Click [File] in the menu -----Open, and select the desired system

    (2) Click the menu [boot CD]----Write a hard disk image

    (3) Click [Write] to start burning the system

  • Why is the capacity over 2T unusable after the disk over 2T is used as a system disk to install Windows?

The default disk format of Windows system installation is mbr; and the hard disk of a disk exceeding 2T needs to be in gpt format to enable the capacity of the part exceeding 2T. Therefore, when using a disk exceeding 2T as a system disk, you need to install it in UEFI mode, and install the disk in UEFI mode. Change the disk used as the system disk to gpt format.

  • Does the server hard disk support hot swap?

The server hard disk supports hot swap, but please do not hot swap in the following cases:

    (1) When the hard disk is used in RAID, the hard disk is hot-swapped, which will destroy the integrity of the RAID and cause the RAID to degrade;

    (2) Under the system, especially when there is data transmission, the hot-swap of the hard disk will damage the data, and in severe cases will cause the system to crash.

  • After the 9361 array card is hot-swapped hard disk, the hard disk red light alarms, and the RAID is downgraded. Can it be repaired?

RAID degradation caused by hot-swappable hard drives can be repaired because it is not a RAID degradation caused by a hard drive failure. The RAID repair process is as follows:

    (1) Press Ctrl+R during the boot process to enter the RAID management interface. Under [PD Mgmt], select the disk in UB or Failed state, press F2 to select [Make unconfigured good], and change the hard disk to Foreign state, as shown in the following figure:

    (2) Switch to the [Foreign View] interface, select the array card connected to the hard disk of the RAID that needs to be repaired, press F2, and select [Import] to repair the RAID, as shown in the following figure:

  • How to solve the problem that the USB mouse cannot be used when entering the configuration interface when the machine is equipped with LSI 9260 and LSI 9261 SAS RAID cards?

You need to select "Advanced->Advanced chipset control->South Bridge Configuration" in BIOS, and set "PORT 64/60 Emulation[Enabled]" to Enabled.

  • How to adjust the output of external graphics card and integrated graphics card in BIOS?

After installing the discrete graphics card, it will still output from the motherboard VGA by default, so if the monitor is connected to an external graphics card, there may be no video output. At this time, you need to make adjustments in the BIOS, and set the onboard video option in advance-PCI settings to off, turns off the onboard output.
